Excavation

Bulk excavation works to form new Marina, excavating to 4m below the water table from the west side of the SH. Zayed Highway, haul and loose depositing including disposal of unsuitable materials. Upto 6 million m³ of excavation may be involved.

Marina Quay Wall

Construction of seven kilometres of mass concrete block wall to form the central marina and waterway to the Westside Marina Development. Major quantities include 200,000 cubic metres of excavation 135,000 cubic metres of concrete in approximately 9000 precast blocks varying in eight from 30 to 60 tonnes and 600,000 tonnes backfill, scour and filter rock.
