The UAE University project is located within the main UAE University campus in Al Ain. The existing University buildings are found in numerous locations within Al Ain, and these are currently being consolidated within a single campus in the west of Al Ain. This is to be achieved by retaining some of the existing buildings within the campus, and by construction of new facilities. Some of the existing buildings are to be demolished to facilitate this process.

Stages 1 and 2 of this redevelopment are nearing completion under a project by others. Al Hikma has appointed Al Futtaim Carillion as main contractor to undertake Stage 3 of the redevelopment, which involves the construction of new facilities for male students.

The scope of the design and new construction comprises two elements, as set out in the Employer’s general requirements;

• Series 7 Buildings – Teaching and Administration (6 buildings)
• Series 8 Buildings – Recreational and Sport (3 buidlings)
