Al Futtaim Carillion is going to construct the biggest store the Ikea Store, Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The IKEA store will be just one part of the island’s retail offering, which will be centered greatly around a mega mall to be built on the island, and offer an array of clothing brands and well-known chains.
Project follows the successful delivery of the $620m flagship Yas Hotel project, the centre piece of the new Grand Prix circuit development.

Construction of new IKEA store on Yas Island with approximately 35,000 GFA, 3 floor levels with undercroft car parking area. Work to be carried out comprises of precast concrete structure, structural steel roof structure, wall and roof cladding, MEP, limited finishes and fit-out, external works and car parking.

The ‘‘Yas Island, Ikea Store’’ will be a complete family destination and serve the concept with its full service warehouse.
